1. Pistachio Flavoured Ice Cream

3. Sweet French Toast with Pistachios

 

Pistachio French toast is as delicious as it is unique. To start, mix milk, eggs, honey, softened cream cheese, half and half cream and almond extract in a large bowl. Dip French bread baguette slices in the batter and then place in a baking dish. Top with a mixture of melted butter, honey, ground cinnamon, Pistachios (toasted and finely chopped) and white baking chips. Cover and bake in the oven for 40 minutes, before uncovering and baking for a further 10 minutes until golden brown. This is one way to up your pistachio intake and to treat everyone at the breakfast table with something really special.

 

4. Pistachio Crumbed Fish

 

Succulent fish fillets are made even better with a wonderful crumb. In line with our nutty theme, you’ll be making a batter comprised of finely chopped Pistachios, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper. From there, dip your fish of choice into a bowl of whisked egg whites before removing and tossing in the pistachio crumb. Place on a baking dish lined with greased paper and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until everything turns lightly golden brown.
